Dinner at Riffle Review:

Started with Market Salad, which was a nice large mixed green salad with shaved carrots and shalots. $7

Main course was Oregon Coast Black Rock Fish with black tolosa beans and little neck clams.    $26

Desert was Chocolate and peanut butter semifreddo with carmel bananas and candied Bacon.  $6

This was a decent meal, but not overly exciting. The little neck claims enhanced the rock fish. and the desert was really good, ended with a decaf coffee, that was french press.. since they did not offer a regular decalf, it was more than what I wanted to spend on coffee $5, along with they did not leave the remainder of the french press coffee at the table.

St. Jack

DInner at St. Jack’s

Very Delisious meal!

To start a Butter Lettuce with Fine herbs, avocado, radish, croutons in a lightly dressed dijon vinaigrette.  $9

Main dish: Whole roasted trout with warm lentil salsa and browned butter vinaigrette $22

Desert: Vanilla bean ice cream. $5

The Butter lettuce salad was presented very nicely and was Very good.. I’m still thinking about it a week later.  The Whole roasted trout was really good and the brown butter vinaigrette really enhanced the flavor.  The Ice cream was just how I like to end a good meal. I usually expect one nice scoop or 2 small scoops, they served it with 3 decent sized scoops, and I should have only eaten half of it.  Ended with a nice cup of declf coffee.

I highly recommend St. Jack.
